Refund policy

Changed your mind, the size doesn't fit or your harness has a fault? Here is how we handle returns, exchanges and refunds.

Right of withdrawal: 14 days

You have 14 days from receipt of your order to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason (Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code).

To do so, let us know your decision before this period ends from the Contact page, including your order number. You can also use the model form below. We will then email you the return address.

Then send the item back no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision, complete and in its original condition.

Return costs

The cost of returning an item when you withdraw is paid by you (Article L221-23). We cover it when the item is faulty or does not match your order.

Refund

We refund all amounts paid, including the original delivery costs, no later than 14 days after being informed of your withdrawal. The refund may be delayed until we receive the item or until you provide proof of shipment (Article L221-24). It is made using the payment method used for the order.

If the item has been handled beyond what is needed to try it (for example used on a walk, dirty or damaged), its loss in value may be deducted from the refund.

Personalised harness and name patch

The personalised harness can be returned like any other item. However, the patch embroidered with your dog's name is made to your specifications: it is excluded from the right of withdrawal (Article L221-28, 3° of the French Consumer Code; Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU) and cannot be returned or exchanged. As it is attached with hook and loop, you keep it.

A harness ordered with the MyDogGrip logo patch or the blank patch is not personalised: it can be returned complete, with its patch.

Size exchange

The size doesn't fit? Write to us within 14 days of receipt, before sending anything back, with your order number, the size you need and your dog's chest girth. You send the harness back at your own cost, in its original condition. As soon as we receive it, we ship the new size free of delivery charges, subject to stock availability. The patch attaches with hook and loop: you keep it and put it on the new harness.

Faulty or non-conforming item

All our items, personalised or not, are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and by the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). Write to us with your order number and a photo: depending on the case, we repair, replace or refund the item. Return costs are then paid by us.
