This page explains which cookies are used on mydoggrip.com, what they are for and how you can accept or refuse them.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a website. It can, for example, keep your basket in memory or measure how pages are used.
Cookies used on this site
The shop runs on Shopify, which sets the cookies described below. At present, no statistics or advertising tool from another company (Google Analytics, Meta, etc.) is installed on the site.
| Category | What they are for | Your consent |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Running the shop: basket, payment, security, chosen language and country, and remembering your cookie choices. Examples: cart, cart_currency, localization, _tracking_consent. | Always active: the site cannot work without them. |
| Preferences | Remembering some of your choices for your next visits. | Only with your consent. |
| Statistics | Measuring overall use (pages viewed, where visits come from) with Shopify’s analytics tools, to see which pages are useful. Examples: _shopify_y, _shopify_s. | Only with your consent. |
| Advertising | No advertising cookies are used at present. If an advertising tool is added, this page will be updated and your consent will be requested. | Only with your consent. |
Shopify publishes the detailed list of the cookies it sets: www.shopify.com/legal/cookies.
Accepting or refusing cookies
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, refuse or choose cookie categories. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and refusing does not stop you from ordering.
You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; some features, such as the basket, may then stop working.
How long your choice is kept
Your choice is kept for 12 months at most. After that, or if you delete your cookies, the banner is shown again.
